The Speech Language Pathologist examines and provides remedial services for patients with speech, language, and swallowing disorders. Evaluates, records, and reports patient progress to case manager and physician.
Demonstrates the clinical skills necessary to assess and treat speech, swallowing and language pathologies. Possess good verbal and written skills with the ability to work within a team concept. Must be a licensed driver with an insured automobile in good working condition.
Graduate of accredited master's degree program in Speech-Language Pathology. Possesses current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology and meets all requirements of ASHA. Current licensure as SLP in State of employment. Minimum of One(1) year recent clinical practice in Speech-Language Pathology. Home Care experience preferred.
